Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is located in northwest Arkansas, nestled in the Ozark Mountains, the birthplace of the White River. This 28,000 acre reservoir provides fishing opportunities for Largemouth, Smallmouth and Kentucky bass. This deep clear water lake with rock shoreline and towering limestone bluffs offers a beautiful setting for a day of fishing.

About Us

Paul Edwards, owner of Ozark Fishing Excursions, has over 30 years of bass fishing experience. A love of nature and the outdoors was instilled at a very young age. He enjoys sharing his passion for fishing and the beauty of the Ozark lakes.

I started fishing in the area streams for smallmouth bass in the early 60's with my dad floating the Big Sugar and Elk Rivers in a canoe or flat bottom boat. My love for fishing grew and so did my love for this area. We moved away from the area to Kansas in my teen years but I found myself frequently traveling to Missouri and Arkansas to fish the streams and lakes. I later moved back to the area and enjoyed taking family and friends on fishing trips on Beaver Lake. Sharing my passion for bass fishing with others is what I loved most, so I started Ozark Fishing Excursions.

Experienced and novice bass fishers will enjoy their guided trip with Ozark Fishing Excursions. Our trips are tailored to your experience and desires. If bass fishing is a new experience, Paul can teach you the basics. Experienced bass fishers will appreciate Paul's knowledge of this 28,000 acre reservoir.

Our Boat

Our boat is a 2000 19'3" Bass Cat Pantera III powered by a 200hp Evinrude Ficht motor and equipped with the latest electronics.  Passengers will feel safe and secure as they ride down the lake in this world class fishing machine. With dual consoles and large casting decks the Pantera is both comfortable and efficient. With Paul at the controls we can quickly move from one fishing hole to the next.

Your Trip

Your trip includes:

  • 2000 19'3" Bass Cat Pantera III

  • Spinning equipment - Shimano reels and Falcon rods

  • Bait casting equipment can be provided

  • Seasonal lures (no live bait)

  • Life Jackets

  • Plenty of cold water, soft drinks and snacks of your choice

  • Sandwiches of your choice will be provided on 6 hour trips

  • Pictures of your catch will be taken for your fishing memories

What you will need to provide:

  • Arkansas fishing license (phone 1-800-364-4263 or at www.agfc.com )

  • Rain gear, cold weather clothing

  • Sunglasses, sunscreen

  • If you prefer your own equipment, you are welcome to bring it along.

A 50% deposit is required. Full Refunds available if cancelled more than 7 days in advance.
